The Japanese Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2021 will not take place due to the coronavirus. About it informs press service of the racing series.
“After discussions with the promoter and the Japanese authorities, the government has decided to cancel the race this season due to the ongoing complications of the pandemic in the country,” the report said.
The message notes that Formula 1 is now working on the details of the revised calendar. Final details will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Japanese Grand Prix was scheduled for October 8-10. Last year, the Formula 1 stage in the country was also canceled for a similar reason.
