Another Russian diplomat has been declared persona non grata in North Macedonia and ordered to leave the country. About it reported Foreign Minister of North Macedonia Buyar Osmani.
“Since such information is confidential, I cannot go into details,” the minister answered when asked about the identity of the diplomat.
According to local media, the matter concerns the deputy military attaché of the Russian embassy in the country.
In May of this year, the authorities of North Macedonia already sent from the country of a Russian diplomat. Then the reasons for this decision were not named, the Russian side was handed a note of protest.
Recall that on April 17, the Czech Republic expelled 18 Russians due to explosions at military depots in Vrbetica in 2014. This decision was made in Prague, as they came to the conclusion that Russian intelligence was involved in the explosion at an ammunition depot in 2014. According to the Czech police, the explosions were, among other things, officers of the GRU Alexander Mishkin and Anatoly Chepiga.
