The prosecutor’s office asked for nine years in a general regime colony and 30 thousand rubles each for a fine for Sakhalin teenagers Maxim Pudovkin and Ilya Grunis, who are accused of preparing an attack on a college and a school. About it informs “Novaya Gazeta” with reference to the father of Maxim Pudovkin Andrey.
The persons involved in the case do not admit their guilt.
The parents of both defendants had previously stated that they had been planted with evidence during a search. The FSB was unable to provide the court with a video recording of the search and an inspection of the actions of the investigation was ordered, but the court did not take into account the results of the inspection.
According to Novaya Gazeta, no expert examination established the involvement of teenagers in weapons and explosive devices. Of the evidence, the investigation has only the search protocols. Investigators also claim to have established the acquisition of weapons from “unidentified persons”.
The teenagers were detained in March 2020, at the time of their detention they were minors. They were charged under six articles, including calls for terrorist activities and public justification and propaganda of terrorism.
After mass murder at the Polytechnic College in Kerch in Russia, a number of criminal cases were opened against adolescents. They often feature dummy FSB agents who persuade minors to engage in radical conversations.
In particular, in the city of Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, 15-year-old Nikita Uvarov, Bogdan Andreev and Denis Mikhailenko accused under articles on undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities (Art. 205.3 of the Criminal Code), illegal manufacture of explosives (part 2 of Art. 223.1 of the Criminal Code) and their storage (part 2 of Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code). The investigation claims that in the period from October 2019 to June 2020, teenagers “united in a group to carry out terrorist activities together.” The students allegedly independently learned how to make and use explosive devices, practicing using them in abandoned buildings and on vacant lots. According to some reports, an FSB officer was present in the chat where the teenagers talked.
In Volgograd, in a similar case, a 14-year-old teenager was charged with terrorism, who was placed in a psychiatric hospital and injected with “behavior regulators”.
In Saratov, two schoolchildren, 14 and 15 years old accused in preparation for shooting. The proof was a presentation on the project at school on the theme of “Columbine”, which he did with his mother. Then, in a chat on VKontakte, an unknown girl contacted one of the schoolchildren, who persistently took him out to talk about Columbine, after which she made an appointment in an abandoned building where the boys were detained. Later it turned out that the girl collaborated with the FSB.
In Chelyabinsk, a culinary college student was accused of preparing for mass murder because of one post on the VKontakte network. They found knives at his house, the investigation has no other evidence.
In June 2020 in Krasnoyarsk brought a criminal case against a 14-year-old teenager who was allegedly preparing to blow up a school on Hitler’s birthday and the day of the mass execution at the American Columbine School. In August 2020, nine Krasnoyarsk schoolchildren were sent to psychiatric institutions due to correspondence on the social network VKontakte, one of the accused was 14-year-old Alena P., whose story described “New Newspaper”. The girl signed up for a public about Columbine six months before her arrest, when she was not yet 14, but the security forces followed her and detained her six months later.
