Traffic on the federal highway “Novorossiysk – Kerch” on Friday evening was blocked at three sections due to erosion of the carriageway, informs Interfax with reference to the press service of the traffic police department in the Krasnodar Territory.
“The State Traffic Inspectorate urges drivers to refrain from traveling on the Novorossiysk – Kerch highway. Another traffic restriction has been introduced on the section 53 – 56 km from the village of Tsybanobalka to the Voskresensky farm (Anapa), ”the message says.
Heavy rain washed out the roadway. Light transport goes through the village of Vityazevo and the city of Anapa, freight – through the village of Gostagaevskaya. Also, traffic is limited at the exit from the village of Vityazevo (58 km + 300 m).
This is the third traffic restriction on the Novorossiysk – Kerch federal highway. Previously, it was commissioned at a section of 65 km in the area of the village of Vinogradny and at 91-92 km + 600 m in the Temryuk region.
The traffic police describe the situation on the road as “difficult”: precipitation does not stop. Traffic police officers will participate in anti-flood measures up to the complete recession of the water.
Earlier it was reported that an emergency regime was introduced in six municipalities of the Krasnodar Territory: the resort towns of the Black Sea coast of Anapa, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, as well as in Temryuk, Yeisk and Slavyansk regions. Another two municipalities are planning to declare an emergency regime – the Crimean and Primorsko-Akhtarsky regions.
Territories in Novorossiysk, Anapa, Yeisk and Slavyansk regions were flooded. The most difficult situation is in the Temryuk region. Here, about 800 local areas are flooded.
At present, heavy precipitation, up to 150 mm, is predicted in Abinsky, Krymsky, Slavyansky, Temryuksky, Primorsko-Akhtarsky, Krasnoarmeysky and Kalininsky districts, Gelendzhik, Anapa and Novorossiysk.
On Thursday, in the east of Crimea, a section of the Tavrida federal highway was flooded. It connects Kerch with Simferopol and Sevastopol.
