The number of victims of the explosion in a passenger bus in Voronezh increased to 19 people, all of them were hospitalized, the condition of three is assessed as serious. About it informs “Interfax” with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health.

Earlier it was reported about 18 victims and one woman who died in intensive care.

“The injured were hospitalized in Voronezh hospitals with injuries of varying severity: the condition of three is assessed by doctors as serious, eight people are in a state of moderate severity,” the press service said.

Outpatient care was provided to seven more victims.

On the evening of August 12 in a passenger bus in Voronezh there was an explosion at a public transport stop.

A source in the transport supervision services of the region told the agency that the cause of the explosion was a malfunction of the gas equipment installed by a handicraft method. According to preliminary data, one of the gas cylinders installed on the roof was faulty in the bus, there was a leak and an explosion that tore the roof, knocked out the glass and tore off the skin.

Another source said that the bus had no gas equipment, it was diesel. According to preliminary data, no traces of explosives were found in the bus.
