The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that he keeps the situation in Kerch and the Leninsky district, associated with anomalous precipitation, under constant control. “The head of the government of the Republic of Crimea, Yuri Mikhailovich Gotsanyuk, works in the region and reports every hour on the situation. Measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences of flooding, there are no critical problems. I hope that there will be no repetition of the June-July events, but we are ready for any scenario. Additional manpower and means have been attracted, there are enough equipment and people. I am sure we will cope with all possible problems “, – wrote Aksenov on his page in the social network”In contact with».

Crimea has already suffered from heavy rains twice over the summer. On June 16-20, the main blow of the disaster fell on Kerch and Yalta, where an emergency regime was introduced, on July 4 – on the Bakhchisarai region. Houses on the peninsula were flooded, residents were evacuated. Two people became victims of the disaster, about 60 were injured, one woman was missing.

On June 17, Sergei Aksenov visited Kerch, which suffered from the flood. On the video that published RIA Novosti, Aksenov and the head of the city administration moved around the city center in a motorboat, followed by EMERCOM employees in crawl. Aksenov’s advisor told the agency that “the waters in the filming location are chest-deep, it’s easier to swim than to walk.” Why the rescuers do not move by boat, the adviser did not explain.

Later Aksenov stated that will reward swimmers-rescuers. “We will encourage everyone, including the swimmers who promoted Crimea yesterday. Well done Ministry of Emergency Situations, the role was good, they moved confidently, ”the official said.

Now the restoration of cities and towns after bad weather continues.
