In Russia, 21,932 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected. Per day, according to the headquarters, another 808 people died – this is the maximum for the entire time of the pandemic.

56 people died in Moscow, 48 – in St. Petersburg, 24 – in the Moscow region. In total, 168,049 patients with COVID-19 have died since the beginning of the pandemic.

Most of all new patients with COVID-19 were identified in Moscow – 2294. In St. Petersburg, 1801 new patients with coronavirus were identified, in the Moscow region – 1143. Next in the list of regions are the Nizhny Novgorod region (+549) and the Sverdlovsk region (+523).

The day before, on August 11, 21,571 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Russia. The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic in Russia has reached 6,534,791.

Official data on mortality from coronavirus in Russia over the past month did not rise above 800 people per day. It is noteworthy that the number 799 repeated several times over the past weeks – such numbers were recorded on July 16, 24 and 29.

Demographer Alexei Raksha considersthat these numbers are “absolutely drawn.” In fact, according to his data, the official mortality rate has been underestimated by three times. “They just banned painting more. These are all absolutely drawn figures, they have nothing to do with reality. Everyone understands this, ”he noted earlier.

According to him, the authorities will continue to smear the death rate data. “In winter, they smeared until May, before a new wave, in May they showed more winter deaths. And now they will continue to do so, and there will be 800 deaths ad infinitum. I know for sure that now there are 2400-2500 deaths a day, ”he explained.
