In the Irkutsk region, boarding school employees were detained in the case of beating up teenagers

In the Irkutsk region, four employees of a correctional boarding school in the village of Kvitok, Taishet district, were detained. How it says according to the UK, they are suspected of using physical force against children.

Among the detainees were the deputy director of the boarding school for educational work, two educators and a nurse. All of them were removed from office.

On August 5, several inmates of the boarding school reported the beating to the police. According to them, they left the orphanage without permission, and when they returned, the teachers beat them up.

According to the UK, bodily injuries were recorded in three adolescents.

A criminal case was initiated on abuse of office (article 286 of the Criminal Code), failure to fulfill the duties of raising a minor (article 156 of the Criminal Code) and torture (article 117 of the Criminal Code).
