Monday US Department of State reported on the imposition of sanctions against three companies from Russia – NPP Pulsar LLC, Charter Green Light Moscow (CGLM) and Asia-Invest LLC. According to Washington, they violate the national legislation on the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in relation to Iran, North Korea and Syria. The Insider managed to find out a number of details that relate to the work of these companies and the people behind them. However, even the identification of these legal entities is causing difficulties.

The media reported that the American document refers to the Pulsar NPP JSC, which is part of the Rostec state corporation, whose general director is Sergey Chemezov, who is close to Vladimir Putin. However, there is also a Bashkir private company – NPP PULSAR LLC, which is owned by Marsel Asfandiyarov. Both companies with almost the same names work in the same area – the design and manufacture of semiconductor and electronic devices.

Another company on the sanctions list, Asia-Invest LLC, is owned by Guzel Asfandiyarova, who lives at the same address in Ufa as Marsel Asfandiyarov. They are the same age and probably married. This company supplies equipment, instruments and petrochemical products to enterprises in the neighboring countries (to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan). Among its foreign partners are the largest factories of the oil complex, mining, defense industries, it says on the company’s website. For 21 years of operation, the company “managed to withstand serious competition and gained a reputation as a reliable partner and experienced supplier, despite the complexity of all economic transformations in the country and the world as a whole.”

Charter Green Light Moscow (ChGLM LLC) belongs, according to SPARK, to Alexei Malyarevich. He is a British citizen and specifies an apartment in Moscow on Udaltsova Street as his address for receiving correspondence. ChGLM has been operating for 5 years in the business aviation market, organizing international and domestic charter flights, including top officials (politicians and businessmen). It also provides transportation services for all types of cargo. As indicated on the organization’s website, the world’s leading companies are its partners. In total, over 500 flights were performed.

“We are chosen because we are able to fulfill any of your tasks: organize a VIP flight, a corporate flight or deliver any cargo, including especially valuable, to anywhere in the world”, – it says on the company’s website. And the ability to implement “non-standard tasks” in the shortest possible time and complete confidentiality of orders allow us to cooperate with “leading companies and persons” of Russia.
