In Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Region, law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances in which the 95-year-old labor veteran, retired teacher Olga Likhacheva was injured. According to preliminary data, the woman was beaten by a nurse, whom she asked to measure her blood pressure.

How told E1.ru Lydia, the victim’s granddaughter, an elderly relative was looked after by workers from the company “Mercy.pro”. Recently, a new nurse named Vera was sent to Olga Likhacheva’s house. The relatives did not mind, but the relationship between the nurse and the pensioner did not work out. Lydia asked for a new shift (nurses are on duty for ten days) to return the old woman, but on the last night of her shift, on 5 August, Vera beat her ward.

“My grandmother asked me to measure her blood pressure because she had a headache. The nurse said that “they are not paid for this,” said Lydia. – Then my grandmother quoted a verse about humanity. After that, the nurse knocked the grandmother to the floor and began to kick, beat and drag her by the hair. In the end, my grandmother had to cut her hair – instead of it, she just had some kind of huge tangled tuft. “

Olga Likhacheva developed many hematomas: on the legs, arms, shoulder, head, neck. Treatment is complicated by her age and physical condition. For example, a pensioner cannot be drained because she will not tolerate anesthesia.

The victim’s family went to the police. The company apologized to relatives of the pensioner – “regardless of whether the bruises appeared as a result of violent (actions) or an accident.” The nurse was blacklisted, and with the money that should have been paid to her, Olga Likhacheva will be called a doctor, the company added.

Colonel Valery Gorelykh, press secretary of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region, confirmed the start of a pre-investigation check. “An elderly woman was recommended to undergo a forensic medical examination in order to establish the severity of her injuries, on which, in fact, the procedural decision will depend,” he added. The check is monitored by the regional prosecutor’s office, it says in the message of the department.

True, Olga Likhacheva’s condition does not allow her to be taken for examination. She “hurts everything,” says Lydia. She also believes that the company “Mercy.pro” does not want to take the blame for what happened. “They hint that the grandmother allegedly has dementia, that she could confuse something or lie. But such injuries cannot be obtained simply by falling or crashing into something! They beat her, beat her for a long time and very severely, ”explains the victim’s granddaughter.

Olga Likhacheva suffered a stroke and a heart attack, but, according to her relatives, she is in her mind, she quotes Russian writers by heart. At home she has letters of thanks and congratulations from the President of the Russian Federation.
