In the Krasnodar Territory, 87 children were hospitalized, poisoned on the train Murmansk-Adler, informs regional headquarters.
In the press service of Rospotrebnadzor said “Interfax” that the children were diagnosed with type II norovirus (gastrointestinal infection). Doctors assess the harm to the health of children as mild and moderate in severity. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the provision of services that did not meet security requirements (part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code). The perpetrators face punishment of up to two years in prison.
In total, there were 246 children and 24 accompanying persons on the train. Children who had no symptoms of poisoning were taken to the health resorts of the Tuapse region.
The children were reported to have dined in the dining car. One of the four employees of the car was suspended from work after refusing to take tests, and three more were tested. Samples of food, drinking water, food and disinfectants were also taken, transfers TASS.
