Iraq suspends all passenger flights to Belarus amid difficult situation with illegal migrants

The Iraqi Civil Aviation Administration has suspended all passenger flights to Belarus. About this department reported on your Facebook page.

The decision was made due to the difficult situation with illegal migrants on the Lithuanian-Belarusian border. Iraqi Airways will fly from Baghdad to Minsk only to take Iraqis back home.

Formerly the authorities of Lithuania promised pay 300 euros to illegal migrants who agree to voluntarily leave the country. About it stated Head of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania Evelina Gudzinskaite on the air of radio LRT.

The payment, she said, will be made when a migrant gets on a plane departing from Lithuania. Illegal migrants will receive 300 euros once.

In July, Lithuania declared an emergency regime due to the influx of migrants from the Middle East who enter the country from the territory of Belarus.
