In Austria, a court in the city of Korneuburg found Sarali A., a native of Chechnya, guilty in the case of the murder of the Chechen blogger Mamikhan Umarov (Martin Beck) and sentenced him to life imprisonment. About it informs ORF agency.

As the agency reports, the convict did not admit his guilt.

Recall that a 43-year-old native of Chechnya, blogger Mamikhan Umarov was shot dead on June 4, 2020 in one of the shopping centers in the Austrian city of Gerasdorf bei Vin near Vienna. The alleged offender was detained several hours later, his car was stopped in the city of Linz. According to the police, the shooter was also a native of Chechnya.

According to sources, who was killed earlier was Kadyrov’s “security officer”, he was charged with political assassinations, but he warned his “clients” – Adam Osmayev and Amina Okueva, who live in Ukraine, that they are next on the list of murders. Last year, he testified against Kadyrov at a meeting with Ukrainian investigators at the Ukrainian embassy in Vienna.

Audio recordings of the murdered confirmed coordination of contract killings with deputy Adam Delimkhanov.

Later, relatives of Umarov, known as Anzor from Vienna, claimed responsibility for his murder. They recorded a video message in which they actually confessed to the crime. The video itself is distributed through social networks and groups in messengers.

“We stopped him because we had to. There are many people in Europe who are arrested on suspicion of murder for no reason. What has been done is done by us. This is what we had to do. Don’t torture people, leave them alone, ”they said.
