The Central Election Commission of Russia has registered the federal list of candidates of the Yabloko party for participation in the upcoming elections to the State Duma. Such a decision was taken at CEC sessions.
300 candidates on the federal list of the party have been registered. At the same time, four candidates were excluded from the list – one of them was brought to administrative responsibility, two candidates were found to have dual citizenship, and another candidate died.
According to CEC member Anton Lopatin, on the eve of the party submitted to the commission changes in the information about the candidates, including about the opposition leader Andrei Pivovarov – that he is a person affiliated with a foreign agent. Lopatin said that the specified information about Pivovarov will be reflected in the data on the candidate.
Earlier today at the CEC statedthat Yabloko belatedly submitted a package of documents for the registration of candidates for the elections, while the documents were submitted with violations.
According to CEC member Yevgeny Shevchenko, Yabloko submitted a total of about 90 thousand signatures of candidates, with the required number of 200 thousand signatures. Shevchenko also said that the party did not submit to the commission a protocol on the results of the collection of signatures, which is a violation. In addition, according to the CEC member, Yabloko has not submitted all the documents on candidates for their registration for the elections.
Recall, on the eve of TEC No. 30 of the Central District of St. Petersburg refused Boris Vishnevsky in registration for elections to the city Legislative Assembly from Yabloko. The election committee said that the documents from the Yabloko conference on the nomination of Vishnevsky were incorrectly drawn up, but at the same time there are no requirements for their registration in the legislation. Earlier, in the district where the candidate is running, two more self-nominated candidates named Boris Vishnevsky were registered, who changed their names just before the start of the campaign.
