Seven-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi retires from motorcycle racing. About this Italian racer reported at a special press conference.
The last race in Valentino’s career will be the Valencia Grand Prix. The race will take place on November 14 and will be the final in the MotoGP-2021 season.
Earlier it was reported that after the end of his career, Rossi will move to the WEC – the world endurance racing championship. The rider has already competed in endurance competitions in the Blancpain Endurance series in 2012. It is expected that in the event of a move to the WEC, Rossi could receive support from Ferrari, being in one of the team’s crews in the hypercar category in 2023.
For the past two years, Rossi has raced in the 12 Hours of Abu Dhabi, where he has won two wins in the GTE-Am category.
Valentino has been in MotoGP since 2000, during which time he won the championship 7 times.
