Roskomnadzor has blocked the website of the Profession – Journalist Award, established by Mikhail Khodorkovsky in 2016. The award is presented to independent media.

When you go to the website of the award, it is reported that access to the resource is limited on the basis of the federal law “On information, information technology and information protection.”

The organizers of the award urged their subscribers to use blocking bypass tools.

On the eve of Roskomnadzor at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office blocked sites “Open Media”, “MBH Media” and the project “Legal Protection of the Postcard”. The publications noted that the editorial staff did not receive any notifications about this – from the regulator or the Prosecutor General’s Office. On the morning of August 5, these media announced on the termination of their work in connection with the blocking of sites.
