The Pskov regional electoral commission removed the leader of the local branch of Yabloko Lev Shlosberg and member of the regional council of the branch Nikolai Kuzmin from the elections to the regional assembly of deputies. About it informs “MBH Media” with reference to Nikolai Kuzmin.
According to him, this decision was made on the basis of a letter from the Ministry of Justice. The reason for the withdrawal of the candidates was the participation of Lev Shlosberg and Nikolai Kuzmin in a rally, allegedly organized by the FBK.
Deputy Chairman of the Pskov Yabloko Dmitry Permyakov suggested that it could be a rally on January 23, when Lev Shlosberg was detained in Pskov and fined for allegedly participating in the rally.
As the newspaper notes, earlier the deputies were removed from the elections because of the reports of the Ministry of Justice about the politicians’ connections with Navalny and “providing assistance to those detained at rallies” and in a number of other regions.
At the same time, Lev Shlosberg was registered as a candidate for the State Duma. “I am now in Moscow, today I was registered as a candidate for deputy from the Khovrinsky District,” Schlosberg told the publication.
