Roskomnadzor demanded that YouTube block the channels of Lyubov Sobol and Navalny LIVE for violating the law “On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection”. Sobol herself told about this in the video, published on “Navalny LIVE”.
Sobol showed a screenshot of a letter from YouTube, in which the video hosting site notified channel owners about the RKN’s demand. Links to these channels have been added to the Prohibited Content Register.
According to Sobol, the decision to recognize the Anti-Corruption Fund and other structures of Navalny as extremist organizations has not yet entered into legal force, therefore, the regulator’s demand cannot be called legal.
