The hosts of the 60 Minutes talk show on the Russia 1 TV channel, propagandists Olga Skabeeva and her husband Yevgeny Popov own real estate in Moscow worth more than 300 million rubles. About it reported in the FBK investigation.

As the Fund found out from the real estate registry, in April 2015, the couple bought an apartment on Verkhnyaya Maslovka Street overlooking Petrovsky Park with an area of 105 square meters and a cost of 45 million rubles. In November 2020, Skabeeva and Popov bought an apartment in the elite residential complex VTB Arena Park on Leningradsky Prospekt with an area of 170 square meters, located not far from the first housing. The apartment has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, living room, hall and kitchen. The cost of real estate, including finishing, is estimated at 130 million rubles.

In the same residential complex, in June 2019, Skabeeva and Popov became the owners of non-residential premises with a separate entrance on the ground floor. The area of the premises is 180 square meters, and its price is 130 million rubles.

The fund notes that neither Popov nor Skabeeva have ever been involved in business and they have no other income than from working on state television.

The investigation came after Yevgeny Popov announced plans to run in the State Duma elections in May. In the primaries of “United Russia” in his constituency, he took first place.

Formerly The Insider reportedthat Olga Skabeeva earns 12.8 million rubles a year, and Evgeny Popov – 12.9 million rubles.
