According to the minister, the authorities have evacuated residents of 18 villages in Antalya, in the neighboring provinces of Adana and Mersin, evacuation was carried out in 16 settlements.
Since July 27, 41 forest fires have been recorded in 13 out of 81 provinces in Turkey. The second major fire in a week is raging in the vicinity of Marmaris.
