The court ordered Novaya Gazeta to delete Gozman’s article about his participation in Krasovsky’s program on RT. In it, the politician reported on the wiretap before the broadcast.

The Moscow Arbitration Court ordered Novaya Gazeta to delete an article by politician Leonid Gozman about his participation in Anton Krasovsky’s program on RT, informs “Legal protection of the Postcard”.

At the same time, the court ordered Gozman himself to pay Krasovsky 300 thousand rubles as moral compensation.

This is about article Gozman “Three of us Love: Comrade Major and I and Anton Krasovsky,” in which the politician says that Krasovsky had listened to his conversation with Igor Yakovenko before preparing for the broadcast of the Antonyms program, and was also negatively disposed towards him, which found its expression even in the title of the broadcast – “Liquidation of the Liberals.”

Gozman said that the secrecy of his telephone conversations had been violated, and wrote on the pages of Novaya Gazeta that he had sent a statement to the Investigative Committee. Krasovsky himself has repeatedly denied all the charges brought against Gozman.

According to Krasovsky, compensation for moral damage will become “a preventive measure against the spread of false information by Gozman in the future.”

On March 4, 2021, Gozman was invited to a live broadcast on the Russia Today TV channel in Anton Krasovsky’s program “Antonyms”. Before the broadcast, the politician called the journalist Igor Yakovenko and asked him to help with the selection of the channel’s reports, which the journalist considers unreliable.
