Russian Vitalina Batsarashkina won gold at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, taking first place in air pistol shooting from 10 meters. Her result is 240.3 points, transfers Interfax.
This is the first gold of the Russian team at these Games. The national team also won one silver and one bronze medal. On July 24, Russian athletes won silver in air rifle shooting from a distance of 10 meters and bronze in taekwondo in the weight category up to 58 kg.
The second place in the shooting was taken by Antoaneta Kostadinova (239.4) from Bulgaria, the third – the representative of China Jiang Zhanxin (218.0).
The 2020 Olympics takes place in Tokyo from July 23 to August 8. After the decision of the CAS, Russian athletes perform under the flag of the Russian Olympic Committee, and the Russian anthem will replace a fragment from the work of Tchaikovsky.
