In Russia, in the first half of 2021, 180 accidents with electric scooters and other means of individual mobility were registered. Five people died and almost 190 were injured. About it informs TASS with reference to the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The department noted that the status of personal mobility means has not yet been determined; the Ministry of Transport of Russia is developing the corresponding draft government decree. “Its current edition has not been submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in accordance with the established procedure,” the press center said.
Earlier in Moscow, the speed of electric scooters was limited to 25 kilometers per hour, in St. Petersburg – 20 kilometers per hour.
