<p>The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested forensic scientist Alexander Pentsakov, who was conducting an investigation into the case of the death of the deputy head of the department of culture of the capital, Leonid Osharin.  According to TASS, Pentsakov is suspected of forgery.</p>
<p>The suspect was sent to a pre-trial detention center until September 21.</p>
<p>Leonid Osharin disappeared on March 25, 2020.  how <a href="https://www.kp.ru/daily/27122.5/4204883/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">wrote</a> &#8220;Komsomolskaya Pravda&#8221;, he went to the airport, bought himself a ticket to Sochi and withdrew 300 thousand rubles from an ATM.  His wife announced his disappearance only a week later.  He often left without warning, she said.</p>
<p>Osharin&#8217;s body was found in a rented apartment on the banks of the Vodopadnaya River in Yalta, where he arrived after Sochi.  He was lying on the bathroom floor with stab wounds on his neck and arms.  There were unfinished bottles of strong alcohol on the table in the room.  They also found about 300 thousand rubles in cash in the room.  The UK believes that Osharin could have been killed.</p>
