The daily increase in new cases of coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation amounted to 24 633 cases, it follows from the data of the operational headquarters, promulgated on Monday.
During the day, 719 patients died from coronavirus. The largest number of deaths in Moscow – 103, in St. Petersburg – 102, in the Irkutsk region – 35. After recovery, 18,764 people were discharged from Russian hospitals.
In Moscow, 4,007 new cases of COVID-19 were detected, another 7,665 people recovered. The daily incidence in the capital has been declining for the third day in a row. On Sunday reported about 4 357 cases, a day earlier, 4 561 infected were detected.
In the Moscow region, another 2,504 people were infected, in St. Petersburg – 1,938.
