The Basmanny District Court of Moscow fined Lenta.ru journalist Anastasia Zavyalova one thousand rubles, who had previously told about the beating in a paddy wagon after trying to remove the detention of a child at Chistye Prudy. About it informs Mediazona.
Zavyalova was found guilty under the article on petty hooliganism (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
Anastasia Zavyalova was detained on the night of July 18 at Chistye Prudy, when she was trying to film how the police were taking a little girl to a paddy wagon, whose father they had detained for appearing on the street in a drunken state.
“One of the security officials pushed Nastya, she tried to remove his badge – he was covering it,” told correspondent of the publication Polina Glukhova.
According to Zavyalova, in the paddy wagon one of the security officers stepped on her with his knee, pressing her hard to the floor, and then hit her head on the table.
At the same time, as noted by the journalist, she was threatened to open a case under the article on the attack on the security forces (Article 318 of the Criminal Code).
On the evening of July 18, Zavyalova was taken from the Basmanny police station to the hospital due to complaints of light-headedness and shoulder pain, after which she was returned.
