The accident happened on Aviatorov Street in the Solntsevo area. Two adults with a stroller and a nine-month-old baby, and children of four and five years old, were crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. The main blow fell on children, according to the State Traffic Inspectorate. Doctors diagnosed a four-year-old boy with a broken leg, a closed head injury and a concussion. A nine-month-old child has a concussion and a closed head injury.
The eldest of the children was taken by helicopter to the hospital, he was in a coma. On the morning of July 17, it became known that he had died.
The examination showed that the girl was sober at the wheel, reported in the traffic police. She got her license last year. The girl said that she ran into the children because she was “on the phone” at the wheel, according to Moskovsky Komsomolets. At the time of the collision, the speed of the car reached 40-50 kilometers per hour.
