At the end of June, Sapega was placed under house arrest. Now she lives alone in a rented apartment in Minsk.
Earlier it became known that two criminal cases were pending against Sapieha. The first was instituted on the day of her arrest at the Minsk airport – on May 23, the second – two days later, on May 25.
The Investigative Committee of Belarus stated that Sapega is accused of inciting social hatred, and is also a suspect in the case of organizing group actions.
