Russian diplomats in Belarus reiterate that detained Russian woman Sapieha has no complaints

Earlier it became known that two criminal cases were pending against Sapieha. The first was instituted on the day of her arrest at the Minsk airport – on May 23, the second – two days later, on May 25.

The Investigative Committee of Belarus stated that Sapega is accused of inciting social hatred, and is also a suspect in the case of organizing group actions.

Sofia Sapega and the founder of the Nexta Telegram channel Roman Protasevich were detained on May 23. Their plane, en route from Athens to Vilnius, was urgently landed in Minsk, citing a bomb report.
