Almost 80% of entrepreneurs consider doing business in Russia unsafe, since the legislation does not give them guarantees against unjustified criminal prosecution. how transfers “Interfax”, this is stated in the report that the business ombudsman Boris Titov presented to President Vladimir Putin.
Titov referred to a survey that the special communications and information service of the FSO conducted among 830 entrepreneurs in 34 regions.
“It should be noted that prosecutors, specialists and entrepreneurs differed greatly in their assessments. If 78.3% of prosecutors believe that the law gives fair entrepreneurs enough guarantees (18.4% disagree with this), then among specialists only 37.6% express positive assessments (negative – 60.8%), and among entrepreneurs – only 15.4% (negative – 78.6%), ”the report says.
More than 80% of the interviewed prosecutors are confident in the independence and objectivity of justice, while three quarters of entrepreneurs do not consider it as such.
“The accusatory bias of the investigation is now the norm in the investigation of crimes in the field of entrepreneurial and other economic activities,” Titov added.
