US Department of Commerce blacklisted three Russian companies for “activities contrary to national security interests”

The US Department of Commerce has included three Russian companies on the sanctions list, it follows from the document, published on the website of the federal register.

According to the list, “Teson” LLC, “Radiant” group of companies and “Trade-component” fell under the sanctions. In addition to the companies themselves, restrictive measures affected their founders – Andrey and Margarita Kuznetsovs, as well as the general director of Teson Dmitry Kravchenko.

The Teson company specializes in the supply of electronic components from the world’s leading manufacturers. GC “Radiant” positions ourselves as one of the largest distributors of electronic components and modules in Russia.

The activity of Trade-Component LLC is also related to the sale of electronic and telecommunication equipment and its spare parts.

The US Department of Commerce said the named Russian companies and persons associated with them tried to purchase goods, “including those of American origin, for activities contrary to the interests of the national security and foreign policy of the United States.”

In particular, according to the American authorities, Teson, Radiant and Trade Component participated in the procurement of electronic components of American origin for the implementation of military programs.
